Inflation is at the top of mind for most people, adding further tension to an already tight labour market (see labour market 2022 stats). Business/recruitment confidence has continued to improve since a low in June. Combined with challenges the Government’s new immigration settings have caused with securing overseas talent, it appears extremely likely businesses will continue to experience recruitment issues well into 2023.
